Forest Hills Place is looking for a Wellness Director to join our Amazing Team!
The Wellness Director is responsible for the direction, coordination, and leadership of the Nursing Department.
Leadership and Mangement -The Wellness Director is responsible for ensuring that all staff members are trained and motivated to deliver the highest level of care to all residents. The Wellness Director ensures that the team is aligned with Forest Hills Place core values includes ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely manner, working collaboratively with other team members and departments. Oversee and manage all aspects of the nursing department, ensuring high-quality patient care while adhering to all state and federal regulatory standards.
Facilitate excellent relationships through open channels of communication with residents, families, and staff. Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations.
Responsibilities :
Must haveexperience working with seniors or in Long - term care, including knowledge of patient care, wellness practices, health education, patient safety issues.
Must have a current license as a Nurse (RN / LPN) with at least three years of experience working in a healthcare setting management.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.
Prefer that candidate that has a clear understanding of operation of the McGregor PACE program, Medicaid and Wavier Program.
Can utilize Microsoft office Programs, Point Click Care, and many others.
Works with Executive Director to supervise, oversee and coordinate the work of Community Team Members to meet Resident needs.
Participates in service planning as well as renewal and maintenance of these plans.
Evolves being completely familiar with state regulations governing Assisted living and ensuring compliance in department by regularly reviewing regulation checklist.
Performs timely and accurate resident assessments utilizing assessment tools and communicating changes to the Executive Director for billing purposes amongst many other things.
Provides oversight with medication management to assure all MAR's are correct and that residents receive medication timely and accurately.
Promotes the Company's Mission Statement.
Working with consultant pharmacist as needed to assure community is in compliance.
Ensures all charting is performed in a timely manner and in accordance with state regulations.
Provides timely and honest communication with families.
Provides marketing support within the community by participating in tours and discussions with potential residents and their families about clinical needs of the prospect.
Provide assessments for potential residents to determine eligibility for Assisted Living.
Creates positive employee relations through staff programs, recognition of excellent performance, and retention though regular feedback systems and promotional incentive programs.
Maintains confidentiality of all pertinent personal or health information concerning residents and staff.
Ensures that any incident reports are completed and promptly.
