JOBSUMMARY :
To guard and protect the guests that use theForestHome pools and lake facilities.To maintain cleanliness and safety of all aquatics facilities and to provide excellent customer servicein order tocreate a fun, welcomingChrist centered environment.
JOB DETAILS :
We are currently hiringand scheduling shifts for this role. No experience is needed and we start hiring at 16 years old. ForestHome will provide all training, including CPR training, as well as pay for all certification fees. Start Dates and End dates are both flexible. Our Recreation options are open year round. During Summer, we have lifeguard shiftsavailable from 9am to 11pm daily. Starting in October, we close our aquatic options, but lifeguards are able to work weekends inour other recreation areas. Starting Pay is $14 an hour. Flexibility for school schedules as well as summer vacations. Once you apply, your application will be reviewed in 48 hours and we will email you with next steps.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Perform lifeguard duties in aquatics programs as assigned, which include a lake front andserveralswimming pools
- Obtains and maintains Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR and AED certifications
- Reaches and maintains a level of physical fitness that meets or exceeds the American Red Cross standard for lifeguards (500 meter swim, 10 foot dive and swim with brick, tread water for 3 minutes)
- Supports and upholds Recreation safety plans and procedures
- Assures equipment is inspected and maintained
- Provide excellent and Christ like service to guests and fellow staff
- Performs other duties as assigned
