What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lawn Care Crew Leader position at Forest Lake Lawn and Landscape?
Looking for lawn care crew leader
- Must have reliable transportation - valid and clean Drivers license REQUIRED - NO EXCEPTIONS
- Prior lawncare experience required
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions: heat, cold, snow, rain, etc.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly for extended periods of time
- Must be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time
- Good communication skills preferred
Lawncare Crew duties include:
- Managing and directing crew members to divvy up work and ensure team is working well together
- Safely operating power tools and heavy machinery/equipment
- Mowing grass using commercial riding or push mowers
- Trimming and hard edging
- Bagging and removing lawn clippings
- Working directly with Office Manager to remedy and complaints or concerns received from clients
Typical hours
- Our crews work Monday - Friday
- Start time is generally 7am for lawn care crew; but can vary depending on weather or time of year.
- Our crews generally finish the day around 4pm - but sometimes work late or finish early depending on the schedule for the day or the job's progress
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
