This posting is for Head Coach for a 7th or 8th grade team.
Responsibilities:
- 3-4 practices and 1-2 games per week (up to 5 combined events per week)
- Season runs July - October
- Implement existing effective training and game strategy programs for football players
- Teach fundamental football skills, strategies, and techniques
- Plan and organize practice sessions to improve players' performance
- Evaluate players' abilities and provide constructive feedback for improvement
- Create game plans and strategies for upcoming matches
- Motivate and inspire players to achieve their full potential
- Ensure the safety of players during practice sessions and games
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to coordinate team activities
Skills:
- Knowledge of MSHSL football rules, strategies, and techniques
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively work with children and young athletes
