What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer and Brand Manager position at Forest Park Forever Inc?
FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Develop and lead visual initiatives that move our brand forward
- Govern how the Forest Park Forever brand shows up in the world
- Design print projects, including annual reports, newsletters, brochures, in-park signage and advertisements.
- Design custom digital graphics (including interactive) for our websites, e-newsletters and social channels
- Create themes/brands for individual events and design accompanying collateral
- Work with photographers and Communications & Marketing team members to chronicle our conservancy’s work and the visitor experience
- Work with videographers and team members on special projects
- Create and/or oversee creation of Forest Park Forever merchandise when applicable
- Execute incoming print and digital design projects for colleagues
- Ensure FPF brand standards are followed by fellow staff and third-party agencies
- Manage our extensive digital photo and video archive
- Oversee creation and production of FPF collateral
- Work with printers on production (guiding projects through entire cycle)
- Manage contracted design or production support during particularly busy times
- Provide guidance on working with printer vendors and calibrating to brand standards
