What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Forest Products Supply?
Because of continuing growth, our Kansas City location is seeking to fill a full time position for candidates that enjoy working in distribution/warehouse operation. In this position you will support management, assist yard personnel, and build teamwork with a tight-knit group of employees. We are needing to add several warehouse/yard workers who will operate forklifts.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand company vision and goals
- Perform housekeeping, daily maintenance and other duties as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and logs in accordance with company policies and safety standards.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel on inbound/outbound shipments, will calls and other customer service issues.
- Interact with customers with a patient and positive attitude
- Pull and build loads in a safe and accurate manner.
- Safely load trucks with a wide range of building materials. Most items are not palletized.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 years related experience is preferred
- Strong planning, organization, communication, problem solving
- Good customer skills
- Detail oriented and ability to multitask
- Knowledge and experience in subjects of inventory control, material/stock handling/storage and/or building products
