What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales/Sales Support Representative position at Forest River Bus?
The Inside Sales position will work directly with the dealer network to prepare bus sales quotes based on Federal, State, and customer requirements. Additionally, this position will enter bus orders and track progress of orders thru Company systems, validate pricing, and analyze quotes and orders for accuracy.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build positive relationships and effective communication channels with counterparts at Company dealerships
- Accurately enter quote and order data and information into multiple electronic systems and formats (Product Configuration Software, ERP Systems, Microsoft Excel, etc.)
- Assemble detailed product configuration quotes in Product Configuration Software
- Enter, process, and track orders thru company systems, interacting with Engineering, Purchasing, Production Control, and Accounting functions in the process
- Ensure consistent flow of information and updates to customers
- Compose email correspondence using proper grammar and business etiquette
- Identify potential process improvements
- Other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED required, Associates or Technical Degree preferred
- 3 years’ experience with quote and order processing in a manufacturing or customer service-oriented environment.
- Expert use of Microsoft Outlook for email correspondence and transmittance of quote / order information
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Database Systems, Sales Management tools and systems
- Proven ability to accurately enter information and data into electronic systems
- Versatile, flexible, and a willingness to work with changing priorities
