Inventory Specialist

Forest River, Inc., the Nation's largest manufacturer of Recreational Vehicles, Cargo Trailers, Transit Buses and Boats has an immediate opening.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing to reorder products as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels
• Collaborate with purchasing department to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure inventory is available for warranty and parts needs
• Suggest and incorporate inventory procedures to minimize loss and maximize efficiency
• Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and work with appropriate teams to prevent future occurrences
• Assist in the development of inventory reports and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Communicate inventory status and issues to management.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements related to inventory management with Safety Manager.

• Experience in inventory management
• Ability to work with computerized inventory systems
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Ability to lift heavy items
• Experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other inventory management software
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
• Knowledge of inventory control best practices
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills
