Responsibilities
As an Assistant Director of Health Services, you will be responsible for assisting the Director of Health Services in planning, organizing, and directing the day-to-day operations of the Nursing Service Department. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating with the Director of Health Services to select, retain, develop, and lead the clinical team
- Assisting in coordinating nursing and ancillary services as needed with other department leaders
- Participating in implementing and maintaining the company's Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) program
- Preparing for facility surveys and accreditation programs made by authorized regulatory agencies
Requirements
Education: An associate degree or higher is required. A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
Experience: At least 0-1 year of experience in healthcare management or a related field is required.
Licenses/Certifications: A current, valid state RN license and CPR certification are required.
