Job Description
The Assistant Director of Health Services is responsible for assisting the Director of Health Services in planning, organizing, and directing the day-to-day operations of the Nursing Service Department. This includes selecting, retaining, developing, and leading the clinical team, coordinating nursing and ancillary services, and implementing quality assurance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Director of Health Services to assist in the selection, retention, development, and leadership of the clinical team.
- Assist in coordinating nursing and ancillary services with other department leaders to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in implementing and maintaining the company's Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
- Prepare for facility surveys and accreditation programs made by authorized regulatory agencies.
Requirements
Education: An associate degree or higher is required. A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
Experience: At least 0-1 year of experience in healthcare management or a related field is required.
Licenses/Certifications: A current, valid state RN license and CPR certification are required.
