What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNA/HHA position at Forest Trace Senior Living?

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care
- Assist with activities of daily living
- Provide a safe and warm environment for the patient
- Report all changes in the resident’s condition to the charge nurse as soon as practical.
- Report all accidents and incidents you observe on the shift immediately.
- Ensure that the resident’s room is ready for receiving the resident (bed made, room clean, etc.).
- Assist with turning, lifting, moving, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.
- Meet with charge nurse on a regular basis, to assist in identifying and correcting problem areas, any changes on the unit or with residents, and/or the improvement of services.
Requirements:
- Current CNA license in good standing
- Current Fingerprint Card & CPR Certification
- Current TB Skin Test or Chest X-Ray
- Previous long-term care experience is preferred
- Good attendance, punctuality, and teamwork with good communication skills are a must
Work Schedule:
- Day Shift
- Afternoon Shift
- Weekends & Holidays as needed
