Journey Health System is looking for a part-time Recovery Assistance Worker who is responsible to provide recovery assistance services to Beacon Light or Forest-Warren Human Services clients living in the community. These services include transportation to obtain necessities for living such as prescriptions, groceries, and clothing. Provide assistance, when requested from Forest-Warren Human Services, for such tasks as light housekeeping and relocating if necessary. Perform other services as requested by the Beacon Light Adult Services Treatment Team or Forest-Warren Human Services which may not be provided by Blended Case Managers, Peer Support Specialists, or Mobile Medication Staff.
Journey Health System provides organizational management, advocacy, financial and administrative shelter to its family of affiliated behavioral health care providers so that they may focus on what they do best - serving their clients in a changing healthcare environment.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires an active driver's license and a DMV check that is clear. Position requires travel within local communities as well as agency facilities 75-100% of the time
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Be a self-identified individual who has received or is receiving state priority group services
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
