Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff during busy periods.
- Ensure proper storage of clean dishes and utensils to facilitate easy access for cooks and servers.
- Monitor dishwashing supplies and notify management when stock is low.
- Follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow in the kitchen.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and sanitation standards is a plus.
