The Casual Network Administrator, reporting to the Head Office in Melbourne Australia, will be instrumental in ensuring the IT operations and infrastructure adhere to current best practices through proving Level 1 and Level 2 IT support.

The office is based in the heart of Manhattan the Network Administrator will be a casual support who can be available on call (for on average 1 day per week) both on site and remotely, you will be compensated on an hourly basis for your efforts.

Key Responsibilities Include
- Availability online and in person in the office (when necessary). You will need to be able to travel into the Manhattan area within 1-2 hours to resolve in person technical issues
- Partnering with the Australian office to ensure 24x7 uptime for critical infrastructure
- Resolve Level 1/Level 2 IT support tasks when required
- Assist with infrastructure upgrade projects (ex/ File server/firewall/domain controller upgrades etc)
- Ensuring there are measures in place to safeguard the security of the network
- Supporting the hybrid working office including working remotely, LAN, VPN, Wireless and Network support
- Logging and resolving all incident/service request details with attention to detail
- Ensuring resolution of incidents and service requests as a priority

What You Will Bring To The Role
- IT related degree, Network Administration certification will be highly favoured
- Demonstrated experience in supporting a broad range of Windows and virtual collaboration technologies, Proficiency with Active Directory, Windows/ Linux Servers, Office 365, SQL, IIS web server, SAN / NAS, HP switches and Watchguard firewalls
- Demonstrated track record of managing servers across AWS, is advantageous
- Possess confident and strong oral and written communication skills
- Personal drive and integrity
- Will need to be able to attend to the Madison Avenue office in person for IT support if required
