Imports – an importer, manufacturer, and distributor of premium Asian specialty foods and Virginia Packing - a specialty foods co-packer for top quality cured meats, cheeses and other specialty foods.

About the role

Forever Cheese seeks a creative, detail-oriented, self-motivated Content & Marketing Specialist to join our team, focusing on building and enhancing W.A. Imports’ customer engagement through the creation of impactful and engaging content, as well as supporting the creation and management of content for Forever Cheese and their growing family of companies. This role includes designing engaging collateral, developing educational video content, and maintaining digital platforms. You’ll also oversee and support operations in our video studio, collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless content creation and execution. They will join a small, nimble team that drives the messaging behind Forever Cheese's family of companies.

This role will have expected travel to our product studio in Secaucus, NJ weekly.

What impact you can create at Forever Cheese

• Design collateral, including catalogs, brochures, visual sell tools, and other marketing materials.
• Create and strategically push educational and engaging video content to target audiences in support of customer engagement.
• Work with 3rd party video editors to turn recorded content into a finished product that is aligned to our brand and improves customers’ understanding of our products.
• Build and maintain landing pages to support product launches, promotions, and campaigns.
• Provide support for webinars and product training sessions, ensuring seamless execution on event days.
• Oversee the operation of the video studio in the Secaucus, NJ warehouse, supporting and enabling Commercial team members to use the space successfully.
• Manage, maintain, and generate digital assets to keep all platforms up to date, including the company website and customer portals.

What you will bring to this role

• Proven experience in a marketing role, preferably within the food industry
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Insatiable enthusiasm for learning
• Deep understanding of social media platforms, content strategy, and community engagement
• Experience creating video and photo content
• Excellent writing and communication skills with an emphasis on thoughtful and authentic storytelling
• Keen eye for design and basic experience laying out brochures, flyers, catalogs, slide decks, and other collateral
• Team player who easily collaborates with many different departments within the organization
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, WordPress, HubSpot Marketing Hub preferred
