Position Overview:
Forever Learning ABA is seeking a student behavior analyst to join our growing team of passionate professionals. This position is ideal for individuals pursuing certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and seeking hands-on experience to gain the necessary skills and supervision hours to become certified.
As a Behavior Analyst in Training, you will work closely with our experienced BCBAs to assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized treatment plans for clients. You will gain valuable experience in behavior analysis, data collection, and the practical application of ABA principles in a variety of settings, including home, school, and community-based environments.
Responsibilities:
Client Assessment & Treatment Planning:
- Collaborate with supervising BCBAs to conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on client needs.
- Participate in goal-setting discussions and contribute to the creation of measurable objectives to support client progress.
Treatment Implementation & Supervision:
- Provide direct ABA therapy to clients under the supervision of a BCBA, implementing evidence-based techniques to address behavioral concerns and skill deficits.
- Observe client behavior and document progress through data collection, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Assist in training and supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other direct staff involved in service delivery.
Data Collection & Analysis:
- Collect and analyze data related to client progress, and assist in making adjustments to treatment plans based on data and observation.
- Ensure that data collection methods align with the principles of ABA and are consistently maintained for each client.
Professional Development:
- Engage in ongoing supervision and feedback sessions with a BCBA to enhance clinical skills, knowledge, and experience.
- Attend training sessions, workshops, and seminars as needed to further develop expertise in behavior analysis.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with families, caregivers, and other members of the treatment team to ensure continuity of care and the successful implementation of treatment plans.
- Participate in team meetings and case discussions to share insights, ask questions, and contribute to the development of client goals.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, behavior analysis, or a related field (required).
- Enrollment in or completion of a graduate program in behavior analysis (preferred but not required).
Experience:
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly in a therapeutic or educational setting, is preferred.
- Experience in ABA therapy (e.g., as an RBT or in a direct support role) is highly desirable but not required.

Certifications/License:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for traveling to client homes or community settings (if applicable).
