Job description:

National Historical Media company Forever Studios seeks a Full-Time Customer Service Specialist to handle both in-person and e-commerce based communications with our clients; who are purchasing media digitizing services, photo restoration services, and physical artwork. This role requires amazing social skills, and a genuine interest in history and media. The hours for this role are Tuesday - Friday 9 to 6 and Saturday 10 to 5.

This job will include comprehensive sales and support conducted in-person, via email, phone & chat platform. It will also include monitoring and logging customer projects and orders in both our project management software, as well as moderate use of CRM.

The best possible candidate will have knowledge of, or a strong interest in late 20th century physical media, photography or artwork, and also be able to connect with clients who are highly emotionally invested in their projects. They will have significant experience, and a history of strong performance in a similar role.

The selected hire will be expected to function at a high level, and properly represent our brand during all communications with clients. They must be able to connect with people from all walks of life, and find ways to relate to them and their experiences. Our customers expect to make a personal connection with their FS representatives, and we expect our team members to enjoy taking a genuine interest in that relationship.

All staff members at Forever Studios are expected to work well within a team environment, and also display a high level of personal accountability and comprehension of organizational goals.

You will be responsible for:

- Addressing incoming customer care & support issues via all comms platforms

- Assisting potential clients with sales inquiries

- Basic management of customer projects in our PM system

- Meeting client expectations in terms of overall experience

- Properly represent Forever Studios brand and values in all communications

You must have these skills:

- Have exceptional social skills, and a legitimate desire to help our customers

- Have high proficiency with computers and business software, typing included

- Have excellent & consistent attention to small details

- Have a track record of performance in similar roles

- Be dependably detailed, organized, on-time and reliable

- Have the ability to keep track of multiple responsibilities

- Have your own, reliable transportation.

- Live within 30 minutes of Boca Raton.

- Be able and authorized to work a 40 hour/week shift.

- Position is 5 days a week with Saturday a must.

What Does The Day to Day Look Like?

All Customer Care staff work in-person at our National HQ in Boca Raton, FL. The National HQ has a walk-in reception area for meeting local clients that feels a bit like someone’s living room. Generally speaking, it’s a nice place to be, and a great place to host clients.

The day typically starts with a review of any new email communications that may have come in to either our sales or support inboxes, as well as other forms of online communication available through our website. There may also be voicemail messages from customers who may have called while the HQ was closed. There will also be leads that need to be addressed in our CRM platform.

Cleaning up these items and completing the basic communications is the first order of business. While the company is predominantly e-commerce based today, there are also plenty of local clients who will be coming in throughout the day. Customer Care Specialists are responsible for handling our incoming calls as they come in, as well as providing a top notch in-person experience that includes things like giving tours of the facility to visitors. Every single client should feel like they are being provided something more than just basic customer service.

The managers that you will report to directly will be the Staff/Retail Manager, as well as the Project Manager. Both will likely have specific assignments or needs that they will ask you to help with. While you will be assisting them with specific communication to customers about their projects, they will also be assisting you with customer inquiries and calls.

While the day to day is not terribly complicated, execution on client experience must be consistently excellent, and accountability for your responsibilities must be perfect.
