Production Clerk

Location: Gallatin, TN, 37066

Job Summary:

As a Production Clerk in our dynamic manufacturing environment, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and dedication to accuracy will contribute to the efficient production of high-quality goods. Working directly with the Production Planner and Scheduler, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reviewing Production Sales Orders, coordinating with Order Processing, and supporting the overall production workflow.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive, print, and communicate production sales orders from order processing.
• Print, review and highlight sales orders to highlight important information for production team employees.
• Assist the Production Planner and Scheduler with any issues pertaining to the sales orders or processes pertaining to the production schedule.
• Use inventory software and CRM to review Production Sales Orders.
• Assign fire labels to necessary orders and maintain state fire label audit log.
• Provide timely responses to production issues.
• Identify problems and make recommendations to improve processes.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
• Proficiency with using computers, specifically multiple systems at the same time
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both written and verbal
• A desire to promote the success of the organization and production staff
• Strong sense of urgency
• Extreme attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in production preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Walking and standing in non-climate-controlled warehouse
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds on occasion
