We blend rugged construction with smart design, and we’re expanding our Field Build Crew to meet demand across the country.
Position Overview:
We’re looking for a hands-on installer with a background in carpentry or commercial construction to join our Field Build Crew. This role is a mix of in-shop preparation and on-site installation of modular steel structures. Travel is required for final field assembly, making this the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys project variety and working with their hands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the construction and installation of container-based training structures
- Perform rough and finish carpentry, framing, sheathing, and general assembly work
- Work on-site with the build crew to complete field installations across multiple states
- Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Collaborate with team members to solve construction and fitment issues on-site
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and professionalism
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in carpentry, general contracting, or commercial construction
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and shop drawings
- Experience with jobsite tools and construction equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in the field
- Willingness to travel regularly, often Monday–Friday
- Self-starter with a team-player mentality
Preferred Skills:
- Welding or light fabrication experience
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification
- Forklift or equipment operation experience
- Background in modular construction or prefab building
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
