Job Title: Installer Fabricator – Field Build Crew
Location: Based in Bucyrus, Ohio | Travel Required
Company Overview:
We are a fast-growing manufacturer of custom container buildings, and we’re looking to expand our Field Build Crew with a skilled and motivated Installer Fabricator. Our projects combine craftsmanship, innovation, and mobility—and we need team members who can roll with us from the shop floor to the job site.
Position Overview:
As an Installer Fabricator, you will play a key role in both the shop and the field. You’ll help fabricate custom container buildings in our Bucyrus, Ohio facility and travel to client sites across the region (and potentially beyond) to assist with final assembly and installation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble custom metal structures and container buildings in our shop.
- Travel with the Field Build Crew to job sites for final on-site installation.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication plans.
- Perform MIG/TIG/Stick welding as needed for assembly and structural modifications.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Troubleshoot fitment, alignment, and structural issues in the field with critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Ensure projects meet quality standards and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in welding and fabrication (MIG required, TIG/Stick a plus).
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Experience working in a fast-paced fabrication environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly for field installations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and mechanically minded.
Preferred:
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
- Forklift and/or equipment operation experience.
- Prior experience in modular or container-based construction.
