Forge Forward is searching for a Logistician to support a client in Norfolk, VA. Minimum 3 years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of C4I systems, to include: logistics management, principles, practices, and processes is required. Candidate must be a US citizen with minimum of a Secret clearance. Those not meeting this requirement cannot be considered.
Must have demonstrated skills, to include: Analyzing Engineering/Systems Management Data, Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures, and Developing Logistics Management Plans and Guidelines.
Functional Skills and Responsibilities:
- Must have a strong technical background and the ability to document and assess alternatives.
- Must have experience supporting hardware and software installation, operational support,and lifecycle management.
- Must have experience in software license management and procurement.
- Ability to integrate results from multiple subtasks and cross functional teams.
- Ability to manage remote personnel.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish, implement and maintain operating goals and objectives.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community.

- Skills in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
- Skills in project planning and project management.

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of C4I systems.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Professional Logistics Certification (e.g., DAWIA or equivalent logistics training) in Lifecycle (Acquisition) Logistics Level I. Additional years of experience can be substituted for professional certification.
- US citizen with minimum of a Secret clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with Navy and Joint networking architectures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
