Forge Graphic Works is a group of highly skilled, creative thinkers who design and produce retail graphics and consumer experiences. We do work for big brands and small companies alike, specializing in retail campaigns, event graphics, consumer experiences and other marketing programs.

As a Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative design concepts and turning them into tangible, physical deliverables. Being an experienced and seasoned creative thinker and designer you must be able to conceptualize and prepare final art for 3D retail windows, displays, P.O.P. and trade show installations as well as research and assign appropriate materials and printing processes. Retail design experience is an absolute must, sketch-up or similar 3D rendering abilities a definite plus.

You will play an integral role in brainstorming sessions and presenting ideas to clients, so you must have a wide range of creative styles and should feel comfortable expressing them. You will also help grow and develop our brand vision and communicate our capabilities to our customers by creating written and visual content for our social channels, therefore you must have a passion for keeping a pulse on current trends in social and digital spheres.

As we work across many mediums and industries for our clients, this is a position for someone who enjoys a challenge that varies from day to day and wants to grow within a fun, creative and growing business.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative consumerfocused retail graphics and displays with strong attention to detail and creative excellence.
  • Create social and website content that drives engagement, brand affinity and sales.
  • Collaborate with 2D and 3D designers on how to evolve our inhouse manufacturing offerings into the digital/interactive realm.
  • Support our internal design team doing final file prep for print and 3D design projects including product displays and fixtures, retail windows and large graphic installations.
  • Perform website project updates, revisions, and maintenance as required.

Required skills:

  • Conceptual thinker with excellent sense of design, typography and layout, especially on a large scale
  • Ability to conceptualize and render 3D design projects including product displays, retail windows and fixtures
  • Minimum 5 years agency or corporate design experience
  • Extensive working knowledge of social media platforms and best practices.
  • Solid design / social portfolio demonstrating an understanding of design principles and engaging content creation including copywriting.
  • Intimate knowledge of industry software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to conceptualize across a broad range of aesthetics and styles. Must understand and be able to comply with existing brand identities & guidelines.
