What are the responsibilities and job description for the Press Operator position at Forge Resources Group?
Forge Resources Group, a leader in custom short-run steel forgings, is searching for a 1st Shift Forge Press Worker at our Illinois Forge Co. location in Rock Falls, IL.
Additional incentive pay of $3.00/hr. available while performing production tasks.
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Ability to read measuring tools and equipment
Responsibilities:
- Work on a press crew operating forging press equipment
- Inspecting parts using a variety of measuring tools and gages
- Packing parts in boxes
- Grinding/deburring parts with handheld grinders and bench grinders
Operating the following equipment:
- Forge press
- Industrial scale
- Shotblast
- Forklift
- Assembling boxes
Perform other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
- Continuous Standing
- Frequent unassisted lifting up to 40 pounds
- Frequent grasping and gripping with both hands
- Frequent pushing/pulling/twisting/turning with upper body while holding parts

Pay: $22.65 - $26.90 per hour
