We are currently partnering with a leading international manufacturing company headquartered in Europe. The company is expanding its existing U.S. operations in North Charleston, stepping up to the next level of growth and is seeking a skilled sales professional to drive growth in the manufacturing/machining industry.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing organization and play a pivotal role in its U.S. market expansion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and a deep understanding of machining technology.
This is a remote position with travel requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities within the machining industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Provide consultative sales solutions tailored to customer needs, including machine selection, tooling, and automation.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase machine capabilities.
- Collaborate with engineering, service, and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction and support.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and account management.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and technological advancements in machining.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and provide sales forecasts and business reports.
- Travel to client sites, industry trade shows, and company events as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business.
- At least 3 years of sales experience in machinery, capital equipment, or industrial manufacturing.
- Proven ability to sell high-value technical equipment to manufacturing clients.
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling, and automation.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and working with decision-makers at all levels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivated with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to travel regularly.
