Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities through regular maintenance and repair of equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong leadership skills are essential for supervising maintenance staff and coordinating tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of manufacturing machinery and equipment.
- Fabricate parts as needed to ensure optimal functionality of equipment.
- Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs, including working with logic controllers.
- Oversee facilities maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Execute residential painting projects as required to maintain facility aesthetics.
- Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Experience
- Proven experience in a maintenance role, preferably within an industrial or commercial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with Ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools for equipment assessment.
- Experience in facilities maintenance, including painting and general repairs.
- Leadership experience in supervising teams or projects is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with team members.
