Job Description:
Forge Truck Centers is experiencing continued rapid growth and has become one of the largest and most trusted commercial truck dealerships in the nation! We have an immediate opening for a Heavy Truck Admin position at our New Lenox, IL Dealership location! We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Heavy Truck Admin to join our team at a leading heavy-duty truck company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various administrative functions to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This role involves handling office tasks, assisting management, coordinating with internal departments, and supporting customer service efforts, all while ensuring that the administrative functions align with the operational needs of the company.
Responsibilities:
· Listings
- Write Description
- Pricing From Management
- Upload to Internet Platform(s)
- Upload to Facebook
· Manage Shipping (inbound and outbound)
- BOLS
- Temp Tag
· Key Tags (Create and Delete)
· Changing Status of Inventory (in transit-make ready-in stock)
· Physical Inv Count
· Reception
· Runner
· Assist Sales with Numerous tasks
· Company Lunches
· Overall facility management, including utilities
· Performing other administrative duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
· Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
· Experience: Minimum of 2 years of administrative or office experience, preferably in the automotive, heavy-duty truck, or transportation industry. Basic knowledge of photography and how to take clear, well-composed pictures.
Skills:
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Knowledge of heavy-duty truck parts, services, or equipment is a plus.
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Familiarity with inventory management systems or fleet maintenance software is an advantage.
Work Environment:
· Fast-paced, dynamic office setting.
· Occasional interaction with warehouse or shop floor staff.
· Some exposure to noisy, busy environments as necessary.
