Forge is seeking a Permit Coordinator to help with submitting permits for our HVAC, plumbing, and electrical projects and scheduling inspections with local towns and cities. This role involves working with our team and local agencies to keep things running smoothly.

What You Will Do
- Permits, Inspections & Work Order Management
- Submit applications for permits online and in person (i.e, electrical, mechanical, sheet metal, and building permits).
- Schedule inspections between inspectors, homeowners, and contractors.
- Submit and track work order requests to utility companies.
- Obtain parking permits from cities and towns when required.
- Keep records of permits and inspections in our database.
- Track permit costs.
- Communication & Administrative Tasks
- Communicate both verbally and via email with contractors, utility companies, and local departments to provide information for permit applications and work orders.
- Provide updates on permits and inspections to our team and homeowners.
- Help with research and data collection.
- Perform other tasks as needed to support the team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to navigate online portals and software.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check and 4-panel (no marijuana) drug screening.
- Experience in the construction industry is a plus but not required.
