The Role:
Forge is looking for an Senior Associate to join the Private Company Solutions Group and support all aspects of private market transactions and business development efforts. This role focuses on operational excellence and assisting senior team members in delivering tailored liquidity solutions to private companies and their partners, including law firms, banks, and other service providers.
In this role, the ideal candidate will work closely to execute and build out PCS and Forge’s business strategy, including preparing client-facing materials, tracking issuer mandates, and coordinating with internal teams to streamline processes. Additionally, the candidate will play a key role in expanding Forge’s network of corporate partners by supporting business development efforts with banks, law firms, and other strategic stakeholders.
This role provides an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the private markets ecosystem while supporting the team’s strategic goals and progressing towards increased client-facing responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the EVP and VP in relationship management, including preparing materials and coordinating activities with key stakeholders.
- Assist with the opportunity to lead business development initiatives with banks, law firms, and service providers.
- Maintain client pipeline, including tracking opportunities, building pipeline, and ensuring operational efficiency across issuer-related activities.
- Organize and manage client events, including organizing, managing attendees, and post-event follow-up.
- Contribute to developing and delivering tailored solutions by leveraging Forge’s suite of capabilities.
- Independently manage select existing investor relationships with oversight from our senior team
- Build out and manage regular and ad-hoc reporting for management
Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in investor relations, sales at a financial institution, consulting, or business development.
- Comfortable managing up, effectively communicating with, and supporting senior leadership to align on priorities and drive results.
- Experienced and comfortable engaging with high-level individuals, including C-suite executives and company founders, to build relationships and drive business outcomes.
- Experience communicating with and operating with multiple teams across an organization (product, finance, marketing, management).
- Understanding of the private markets, secondary sales, and venture capital.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time in an office setting or in home office setting while working
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active FINRA Series 7 and 63 Licenses
- Experience at a private company, start-up / fintech company
- Experience with Hubspot
- Occasional travel (<10%) may be required for meetings, events, client engagements, or visits to other offices (San Francisco and London).
For residents of New York, NY the annual salary range for this role is $130,000 - $150,000 annual bonus. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, bonus, and other factors
