As a Florist, you will be responsible for designing and arranging floral displays for various occasions, providing exceptional customer service, and managing sales transactions. Responsibilities

• Create and design floral arrangements for various occasions including weddings, funerals, and special events.
• Assist customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that meet their needs and preferences.
• Manage cash handling processes accurately during sales transactions using the POS system.
• Maintain inventory of flowers and supplies; order new stock as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their inquiries or concerns.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the workspace and display areas.
• Stay informed about current trends in floral design and garden care to provide knowledgeable recommendations.

Skills

• Proficiency in cash handling and retail math to manage transactions effectively.
• Strong selling skills with the ability to promote products and services to customers.
• Knowledge of garden care, lawn care, and plant maintenance is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers professionally.
• Experience in retail sales with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Multilingual abilities are an advantage to cater to diverse clientele.
• Creativity and artistic flair in floral design.
