Minneapolis, producing 1,200 barrels of nationally award-winning beer annually. Founded in
2019, we operate in a historic World War II manufacturing facility that was recognized seven

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, passionate Head Brewer to lead all brewing operations and
help shape the future of our growing craft brewery. This is a hands-on leadership role
responsible for recipe development, production scheduling, quality control, and taproom
collaboration in our 1,200-barrel annual production facility.
Key Responsibilities
● Oversee all aspects of beer production, from recipe formulation to packaging
● Lead brewing operations including mashing, boiling, fermentation, filtration, and
packaging
● Develop and refine beer recipes while maintaining consistency in flagship brands
● Create and execute seasonal and special releases in collaboration with ownership
● Establish and maintain strict quality control standards and procedures
● Manage brewing schedule to ensure taproom has consistent product availability
● Train and supervise brewing staff (1 other brewer)
● Maintain brewing equipment and coordinate preventative maintenance
● Manage inventory of raw materials, ingredients, and brewing supplies
● Ensure compliance with all TTB, FDA, OSHA, and local health department regulations
● Work closely with taproom staff to educate them about our beers and brewing processes
● Participate in taproom events, beer festivals, and community outreach initiatives
● Maintain detailed production records and contribute to forecasting and budgeting
Qualifications
● Minimum 3-5 years professional brewing experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership
role
● Formal brewing education or certification (Siebel, UC Davis, Certified Cicerone, etc.)

● Proven experience with recipe formulation and batch consistency
● Strong knowledge of brewing science, ingredients, and equipment
● Experience with quality control testing and troubleshooting
● Working knowledge of brewery safety protocols and sanitation procedures
● Proficiency with brewing software and inventory management systems
● Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
● Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with taproom team
● Physical ability to lift 55 pounds regularly and work in variable temperatures
● Ability to work flexible hours including weekends when needed
