Job Description:
EliteCare Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled and dedicated RN-PACU to join our team in Clearlake. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
- Monitor patients' vital signs and recovery status following surgical procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with anesthesia providers and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in on-call duties after hours and during weekends; call coverage will be shared among three nurses.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant protocols and standards in patient care.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification: Required.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification: Required.
- Previous PACU experience is preferred.
