Job Description
Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced and dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Telemetry Unit in Portland, Oregon. This role is critical for providing high-quality care to patients with cardiac and other medical conditions requiring continuous monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and cardiac rhythms, identifying any changes or abnormalities.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in telemetry nursing preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
