Description: This utility position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, using machine and manual cleaning methods. Also, ensure that the dish washing area is maintained as a clean, safe, and sanitary facility.
Requirements:
• Clean and prepare various foods for cooking or serving
• Load or unload trucks that deliver or pick up food and supplies
• Receive and store supplies
• Set up banquet tables
• Stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, and refrigerators
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
• Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle
• Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager
• Prep assigned items.
