Forks Lath & Plaster (FLP) is currently seeking a motivated and detail oriented individual to lead our financial operations. This position is full time and will be on-site.
The Finance Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, payroll operations, and excellent organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Process and manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections
- Oversee fiscal management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Process and oversee payroll process for all employees
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records in compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Collaborate with project managers to provide financial insights that support business development initiatives
- Assist in monitoring and managing costs for construction projects
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure data integrity
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Proven experience in finance management within the construction industry (preferred)
- Proven experience with QuickBooks application (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of and accounting practices and principles
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
