Form Energy is hiring a Senior PCBA Layout Engineer to contribute to our mission in ruling the world (of battery energy storage). As part of our module team, you will be involved in analog (40%), power (40%) and digital/hi-speed (20%) board design in collaboration with our team of electronics and mechanical engineers. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and be part of the growth of a fast-moving company with breakthrough technology and an incredible mission!

• Create, review and maintain parts libraries

• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to understand and define PCB design requirements

• Own the layout design of mixed signal boards ranging from low level signal to high current, high voltage

• Ensuring that all PCB designs comply with industry standards (IPC) and safety regulations (UL)

• Managing and coordinating with vendors and suppliers for PCB fabrication, DFM, DFT reviews

• Creating and maintaining documentation related to PCB designs, including specifications, and technical drawings

• BS and 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education

• Demonstrated experience in bringing multiple designs to volume production

• Deep knowledge of Altium Designer suite (essential) and its plugins like PDN analysis

• Own ECAD libraries and component management

• Excellent communication and organizational skills, creative thinking

Compensation Range: $128.7K - $168K
