Concrete Pump Operator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Pump Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating concrete pumps and a strong understanding of construction site operations. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of concrete to various construction projects. The Concrete Pump Operator will work closely with other team members to build out concrete structures while adhering to safety protocols.

Duties

• Operate concrete pumps on construction sites, ensuring precise placement of concrete.
• Collaborate with construction Project Management team to plan and execute concrete pouring schedules.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Report issues to Fleet Manager.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment and coordinate with Fleet Manager to make repairs as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times. Maintain clean truck and pump at all times.
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other crew members regarding project progress.
• Willingness to operate other Class 8 trucks (boom, roll off) as company needs and schedule dictate.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating concrete pumps in a commercial driving capacity strongly preferred. Willing to train outstanding candidates that currently hold their Commerical Driver's License.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment and tools.
• Familiarity with concrete forming, finishing, and installation processes strongly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively on construction sites.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• A valid commercial driver's license is required; additional certifications related to heavy machinery operation are a plus, willingness to obtain MA Hoisting 4D license required (company will assist).
• Commitment to safety practices and procedures in all aspects of work.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 50 per week
