Summary Of Position
The Content Editor is responsible for post-production editing, content refinement, and final execution across Morphe’s social and digital channels. This role will ensure all content meets high creative and aesthetic standards, aligns with platform best practices, and maximizes engagement and reach. The ideal candidate has strong video editing skills, a deep understanding of TikTok and Meta’s content algorithms, and the ability to transform raw footage into engaging, polished content that drives social performance. They will work closely with the Content Producer / Creator to refine and optimize Morphe’s visual storytelling.

Principal Accountabilities
- DAILY: Edit, refine, and optimize short-form video content for TikTok and Meta, ensuring engagement-driven execution. (30%)
- DAILY: Adapt content to various formats and aspect ratios, repurposing assets for Reels, Stories, TikTok, and additional digital platforms. (20%)
- DAILY: Ensure all content aligns with Morphe’s aesthetic, branding, and visual identity, applying color grading, transitions, and motion graphics as needed. (15%)
- WEEKLY: Collaborate with the Content Producer / Creator to refine raw footage and enhance storytelling through editing. (15%)
- ONGOING: Stay ahead of platform-specific editing trends, leveraging popular styles, effects, and in-app editing features to enhance content performance. (10%)
- ONGOING: Manage a library of assets, ensuring efficient organization, retrieval, and repurposing for ongoing content needs. (5%)
- AS NEEDED: Support rapid-turnaround content needs, ensuring timely delivery of reactive, trend-based edits. (5%)

Required Skills & Experience
- 4–6 years of experience in content editing, post-production, and UGC optimization within the beauty, fashion, or lifestyle industries.
- Expert in short-form video editing for TikTok and Meta, with a strong portfolio of high-performance, engaging social content.
- Ability to execute quick-turnaround edits, producing multiple videos per day while maintaining strong storytelling, brand consistency, and creative excellence.
- Proven experience working with UGC creators and influencer content, ensuring high-quality deliverables on fast-moving timelines.
- Deep understanding of social media trends, algorithm changes, and platform-specific editing best practices, ensuring Morphe’s content remains ahead of the competition.
- Proficiency in video editing tools, including Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva, and mobile-first editing platforms.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple content streams, stakeholders, and post-production workflows in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred: Experience in content production workflows, working closely with in-house and external creative teams from concept to execution.
- Occasional travel for content shoots, events, and brand activations as needed.
