To expand our passion for working in local communities, we are seeking a highly motivated individual to supplement our growing Project Management teams, as an Assistant Project Manager.

PRIMARY FUNCTION OF THE ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER
The Assistant PM is responsible for assisting the Project Manager and Superintendent in coordinating the activities of a project to ensure cost, schedule, document control, and quality standards are met.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER
- Assist the Project Manager in all phases and aspects of the project.
- Assist in the scope analysis for buy-out opportunities and risk mitigation, administration, and expedition of subcontracts and purchase orders following award. Ensure compliance with contractual requirements prior to commencement of work, and ongoing contract management.
- Responsible for all submittals and keeping tracking systems current to ensure timely procurement of materials for incorporation into work.
- Assist project manager in the preparation of schedule of values, review and provide input on subcontractor applications for payment, analyze tier sub/supplier receivables, track status of AR to ensure prompt payment and subsequent subcontractor release, secure lien releases.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with contractual notice provisions, assist in preparation of cost proposals for changes to the work and COP log maintenance, maintain budget control and cost adherence.
- Ability to schedule, coordinate, and facilitate effective meetings and track, record, and distribute meeting minutes.
- Foster profitable long-term relationships with clients, design professionals, and subcontractors. Develop trust and credibility through performance, fairness, open communication with the project team, and follow-through.
- Assist in the coordination of the punchlist completion, compliance with administrative requirements, prompt resolution of outstanding claim issues, and facilitate timely release of retention.
- Provide support to field staff.
- Facilitate the QC process through critical submittal review, running pre-installation meetings and ensure that adequate ongoing field inspections of installed work are occurring.
- Assist in pre-construction and estimating processes in addition to project tasks, as required.
