What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager Assistant position at Forman Glass?
Project Manager Assistant involves assisting a team of Project Managers to productively complete administrative tasks crucial to successfully complete construction projects including inventory tracking.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers in the day-to-day project requirements
- Assist in tracking inventory for stock and job specific materials
- Track incoming materials including placement in shop
- May assist in unloading deliveries of glass, aluminum, etc. lifting up to 50 pounds
- Complete and track submittals (equipment, materials, samples, etc.)
- Assist with material take-off from drawings
- Complete closeout documents including warranties
- Additional responsibilities based on experience
Requirements:
- Effectively manage time to complete multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Mathematically inclined - Basic math, able to work with percentages, fractions, and decimals
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams/SharePoint)
- Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat
- Self-motivated
- Punctuality
- Positive attitude
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to problem-solve unique challenges
- ComputerEase experience a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
