Position Overview
The HR Generalist will partner with the internal HR team and is responsible for planning and coordinating and executing multiple human resources activities for the company. The position will work closely with business Leaders and associates to ensure effective planning and implementation of human resource initiatives to support and enable future growth and success. They must have experience in multiple disciplines of HR and will serve as the go-to resource for the HR team and employees on multiple processes.

The position will work closely with business Leaders and associates to ensure effective planning and implementation of human resource initiatives to support and enable future growth and success. They must have experience in multiple disciplines of HR and will serve as the go-to resource for the HR team and employees on multiple processes.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assists in the development, documentation, and periodic review of company policies and procedures. Suggests and drafts process improvements and compliance changes to existing processes, forms, and procedures. Continuously looks for ways to improve, automate and streamline processes.
- Partners with Marketing on creation and Maintenance of HR Intranet (new HR pages, content, employee resources etc.).
- Responds to general HR questions on policies & procedures. Guides new hires through on-boarding.
- Coordinates and communicates annual compliance/HR policy review and implements training plans annually.
- Manages Service Awards between vendor and ADP.
- Tracks recognition awards and send usage reports to HRBPs for communication to clients. Coordinates Annual Recognition Program process and administration. Audits programs annually.
- Partners with the HR team to create a HR metric dashboard and completes analytics/provides insights regularly.
- Creates/maintains an HR communications calendar i.e. HR Newsletter & content, compliance training, wellness offerings, performance mgmt., policy update and reminders.
- Conducts exit surveys, interviews and analysis coupled with attrition reporting.
- Manages HR Inbox, responds to general questions on benefits, payroll, policies & procedures and send questions to other HR team members as appropriate.
- Creates employee letters such as: offer letters, retention letters, promotion letters, special bonus letters, Annual program communications (incentive plans).
- Helps to prepare HR content for Town Halls
- Manages HR invoice processing with admins/finance resources
- Coordinates pre-employment screening, sends out link for New Hire Paperwork and set-up New Hires in ADP
- Conducts Day 1 New Hire Orientation
- Process employee referrals, sends communication updates to nominators
- Works with HRBPs to manage commercial floater pool assignments
- Partners to coordinate/communicate Wellness offerings.
- Helps to create Job Descriptions where needed
- Helps to support M&A data/integration needs when necessary
- 8 years of previous HR generalist experience, robust knowledge of HR functions and best practices required.
- Broad knowledge of human resources specialties, such as compensation, HRIS, recruiting/staffing, organizational development and training, with the ability to assume incremental responsibilities as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources management or a related field.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to quickly analyze and diagnose problems and proactively create plans to address while working independently.
- Sound judgement, professional and personal integrity, initiative and flexibility, combined with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working for a large multinational corporation a plus.
- Assertive, high energy, independent, results-oriented demeanor with a strong drive to succeed.
- Comfortable interfacing with all levels of leadership to provide thoughtful guidance on objectives.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced changing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to set the tone and maintain HR standards in a consistent way with ability to adapt to the evolving organizational needs.
- Experience in both an exempt and non-exempt setting.
- Demonstrated program/project ownership and consistent delivery on commitments - great organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail.
- Exceptional analytical skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data and extracting/communicating data findings.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously – orientated on results.
