Reporting to the Director of Planning, The Demand Planning Manager will be responsible for supporting North America planning and forecasting functions including Manufacturing facilities, Distribution warehouses and Corporate offices. The main duties will include managing a team of specialists, managing inventory levels, updating planning models and monitoring ERP accuracy.

Responsibilities
- Manage the MFG Planning, Master Data Analyst, Forecast/DRP Analyst personnel.
- Manage the raw and buy/resale inventory for the Formica affiliate product lines including:
- Customer order fulfillment
- Purchase Orders
- Supplier Lead-Times
- Inventory Levels
- Inventory Turns
- Safety Stocks
- Maintain and update planning models as needed.
- Monitor item shortages and take quick actions to address.
- Monitor and update ERP item settings for accuracy.
- Create vendor forecasts for managed products.
- Process and manage product returns/claims for the Formica affiliate product lines.
- Work with customer service, manufacturing, and sales to answer product inquiry questions.
- Be a cross-functional backup for other Supply Chain team members as necessary.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Must have the ability to evaluate complex issues and develop actionable plans while working across the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Economics, Engineering, or another analytical field. Master’s degree preferred, but not required.
- 5-7 years of work experience in manufacturing planning or supply chain.
- Must have management experience.
- Must have experience with ERP systems and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
