Position Overview:

As a Sewer Apprentice at Formica Plumbing & Sewer Co., you will have the unique opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals while gaining hands-on experience in sewer system installation, repair, septic systems, and waterproofing. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals eager to start a rewarding career in sewer services and willing to put in the effort to master the trade. Safety will always be your top priority as you develop your skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist experienced sewer installers in the installation and repair of sewer systems
• Support in performing septic system installations and repairs
• Help execute waterproofing jobs to protect structures from water damage
• Participate in conducting thorough inspections and providing detailed assessments
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used
• Uphold and prioritize safety standards in all operations
• Participate in training sessions and embrace cross-training opportunities
• Educate customers about the condition of their sewer systems and recommend appropriate solutions

Candidate Profile:

• Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in sewer services
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with a team
• Basic understanding of sewer systems is a plus but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in sewer services is a plus
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time
• Salary: Competitive, based on experience

• Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 – 3:30 with overtime opportunities available
• Location: Field-based, serving residential and commercial customers in Northeast Ohio
