Your Role
As our Accounting Intern, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assist in processing and finalizing paperwork for Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Help maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules for tax purposes
- Support the processing of purchase orders
- Aid in collecting monthly reports from departments and preparing the General Ledger
- Assist with bank reconciliations
- Help prepare internal and external financial statements
- Support the management of the petty cash account
- Contribute to maintaining 1099s
- Assist in month-end closing procedures
We are looking for an individual with the following qualifications and skills:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Strong academic performance, particularly in accounting and finance courses
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
