I. POSITION OBJECTIVE
This petrochemical industry Maintenance Staff position exists in order to optimize the utilization of physical assets and technology resources to support Operations to manufacture the highest quality products in the most efficient and effective manner, reduce maintenance costs, and increase operating profit. To increase equipment reliability and add value by integrating plant assets, personnel, technology, and energy, working with other maintenance departments and Operations departments, while sustaining a safe and healthful working environment that meets environmental, health and safety regulatory and Company requirements. Position supports the following plants: PO1/PO2/PO3.
II. MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
Equipment Reliability: Provide Maintenance support to the operating units which will enable the Unit to achieve smooth operation, manufacture high-quality products, and avoid unscheduled process interruptions. This will be achieved by utilizing industries' best practices, benchmarking, and planning, abnormal analysis, initiation, and maintenance procedures.
Maintenance Performance: Communicate and work with operating units (maintenance and operations) continuously to establish equipment criticality and provide standby equipment for critical equipment. Historical files shall be established and well-maintained to correct diagnoses of equipment failures and performance of equipment maintenance.
Maintenance Support: Provide support to operating units to ensure proper knowledge of equipment. Provide maintenance support, including Preventative Maintenance, backup-up programs, supporting technicians with necessary information and or scheduling training, and any other activity needed.
Initiate Action as the Critical Liaison: Coordinate with multiple departments, cross-functional representatives, and key external contacts/decision-makers on various decision-making processes to impact Department goals and results optimally.
Manage, Analyze, Integrate, and Administer Solutions to Improve Efficiency: Gather, compile, analyze, report, and make recommendations with critical impact on production planning, credit, quality, logistics, and customer service. Comply with company policy/procedures to streamline day-to-day processes, workflow, and related practices.
THM: Promote cleanliness and order through the implementation of the Total House Keeping Maintenance program. Emphasize Nothing Touch Ground program and No Visual Pollution program. Maintain the plant in like new condition.

III. QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the electrical maintenance or similar field.
- High school diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 10 years of direct job-related experience required. Associate’s degree with 8 years of direct job-related experience. Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of direct job-related experience preferred.
