Our core business, producing plastic resins and petrochemicals, takes place at three wholly-owned chemical manufacturing subsidiaries located in Delaware City, Delaware, Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Point Comfort, Texas.
POSITION OBJECTIVE
This position will support and work with Traffic Maintenance to analyze and provide directions for railcar diversions/dispositions for regular maintenance. Assemble and prepare Maintenance Division MMR, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports. This role involves in reviewing, analyzing, and maintaining information pertaining to Maintenance function to assist and support unit Maintenance daily function.
MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
Railroad and Track cost and budget analysis: Will work with Traffic Maintenance and Maintenance IT team to investigate, analyze and monitor railcar regular maintenance data to provide and forecast annual maintenance budget. Provide support and initiate conversation between NJ Logistics and Traffic Maintenance to trouble shoot on railcar system improvements and invoice payments.
Manage, analyze, Integrate and Administer Solutions to Improve Efficiency: Gather, compile, analyze and make reports with critical impact maintenance performance, budget, efficiency and achieve goals. Comply with company policy/procedures to streamline day-to-day processes and workflow. Make recommendations to correct any deviations or potential improvements to Maintenance functions.
Contractor Management Support: Take ownership of processing and auditing Maintenance Division contractor blanket contract execution. Take the lead in identifying and addressing contract deficiencies and independently implement solutions. Act as the primary point of contact for NJ contracting, unit Maintenance and contractors, delivering regular updates and recommendations to align blanket contract terms and conditions to achieve FPC goal of cost effectiveness.
KPI Tracking: Ensure Maintenance meets its performance goals by analyzing and managing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Develop comprehensive reports and tools to track progress on MOC assignments, recommendation reports, B1 projects, and actions. Act as a liaison across departments—including Operations, Maintenance, PSM, and E&HS—to streamline communication and maintain accountability for on-time deliverables. Proactively address overdue tasks and realign priorities as needed.
Ensuring Contractor Policy Compliance: Serve as an advocate of company policy, ensuring Maintenance contractor adherence to FPC standards and compliance with regulatory, quality, environmental, health, and safety requirements. Take the lead in identifying and addressing compliance gaps, collaborating with employees and contractors to resolve issues efficiently. Oversee controlled document management to maintain conformity with company and regulatory standards.
THM: Promote cleanliness and order through implementation of the Total house Keeping Maintenance Program. Emphasize Nothing Touch Ground program and No Visual Pollution program. Maintain the plant in like new condition.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous Related Experience Required
Six (6) to ten (10) years of experience in railcar/track data analysis dependent upon education; Project management, and invoice processing/auditing in a petrochemical facility preferred
Technical Skills Required to Perform This Job
High school diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 10 years of direct railcar/track data analysis; Associate’s degree with 8 years of direct railcar/track data analysis; Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of direct railcar/track data analysis. Project management, and invoice processing/auditing experience preferred.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe.
- Knowledge of Websmart railcar menu, FPC/MCA workflow system.
- Experience with setting up contracts (service) is preferred.
