What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instrument Technician - I/E Maintenance I position at Formosa Plastics?
I.POSITION OBJECTIVE
Ensures the efficient operation of process instrumentation
II.QUALIFICATIONS
High School graduate or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License
Associate degree in Instrumentation or Electronics or Two (2) years’ experience (PLC, Analyzer & DCS experience preferred)
III.TRAINING
Safety and policy training available after hire.
IV.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshoot and repair all conventional instrumentation including DCS and Analyzers
Daily paperwork as required
On call duty
Perform Daily route check of assigned area
Calibration of all conventional instrumentation, Analyzers & DCS
Adhere to all company policies and procedures including but not limited to, ISO, personnel, quality, environmental, health, safety, regulatory and company requirements.
Work outside normal shift hours as needed, including on call duty as assigned.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Comply with NTG (Nothing Touching the Ground) requirements. Including daily audits.
Be active in Operation Clean Sweep, and ensure employees are aware of and accountable for pellet loss prevention, containment, cleanup and disposal.
Perform other duties as assigned
