What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator / Material Handler position at Forms+Surfaces?
Forms Surfaces is looking for a Forklift Driver to join our team!
As a Forklift Operator / Material Handler, you support the manufacturing team by safely operating a forklift to load, unload, and move materials in and / or out of the warehouse locations, perform inventory counts as required, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Operate forklift to pick, pull, load, unload, and move material in / out of warehouse.
- Adheres to procedures required for material documents and shipping and receiving documents.
- Clearly label all products using RFIDS.
- Use scanner to identify / select product.
- Receives product, performs inventory control and related duties.
- Use tools and be responsible for their accountability.
- Update computer generated inventories and documents as necessary.
- Ensure a safe environment by keeping a clean and organized work environment.
- Work 10-12 hour shifts and / or Saturday availability.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
