Job Description:
The Field Service Laser Technician is responsible for installing, setting up, and repairing laser and plasma cutting machines at customer locations. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently.
Essential Duties:
- Install and set up laser and plasma cutting machines according to manufacturer specifications.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems with laser and plasma cutting machines.
- Travel to customer locations to perform field service calls.
- Coordinate with the Service Manager to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues.
- Document all repairs and maintenance performed on equipment.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or mechanical environment.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and machine install and wiring.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
