PRIMARY PURPOSE :
Perform raw material duties to ensure continuity of laboratory testing.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Testing of incoming raw material samples using primarily wet bench and physical techniques.
- Ensure testing is performed accurately and in compliance with GLP, GMP, USP, SOP, and other approved test methods.
- Accurately records raw data and analyzes, calculates, and interprets the results.
- Maintain reagents and chemicals in laboratory including but not limited to inventory, current SDS, PPE required for handling, waste generation, and disposal.
- Maintain laboratory glassware and plasticware, including handling, washing, and storage procedures.
- Maintain laboratory consumable supplies, such as refilling disposable pipets, beaker, gloves, etc.
- Promote GMP and safety throughout the facility.
- Promote continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in other activities as assigned by the Quality Supervisor and Manager.
- Potential exists for exposure to potentially harmful chemicals.
QUALIFICATIONS : Required
EDUCATION AND TRAINING :
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or appropriate life-science discipline
