Position Summary

The Senior Sales Executive is a pivotal role within the sales department, tasked with driving revenue growth, expanding the customer base, and achieving sales targets. With extensive experience and a proven track record of success, the Senior Sales Executive leads by example, demonstrating exceptional sales skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of market dynamics. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic sales plans, identifying new business opportunities, and nurturing relationships with key customers. This position collaborates closely with cross-functional teams across the company to align sales strategies with market trends and customer needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to increase revenue growth, achieve company objectives, and exceed sales targets.

• Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with potential customers to expand the company's customer base.

• Collaborate with product development, account management, and ops teams to align sales strategies with market trends and customer needs.

• Negotiate and close deals with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that meet the customer's and the company's objectives.

• Stay updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and market trends to maintain a competitive edge.

• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build brand awareness and establish strategic partnerships.

• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities.

• Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.

• Uphold high professionalism, integrity, and customer service standards in all interactions with customers and collaborators.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications & Education (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.

 • Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

 • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies. Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Demonstrated building and maintaining solid relationships with customers and key stakeholders.

• Willingness to travel as required.

• Food safety standards and regulations preferred.  

• Ability to manage processes and procedures.

• Thorough understanding of manufacturing and production in the industry.

Employee Responsibilities

• Adhere to cGMP and SOPs.

• Report and resolve any situations that might have a negative effect on food safety or quality immediately to the site management.

• Ensure food safety and quality are maintained according to company standards.

• Comply with policies and procedures to prepare and pack products under sanitary conditions that do not expose it to the risk of contamination.

• Operate and maintain a clean and hygienic standard of operation. Follow Company cGMP’s (Current Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety Policies at all times) In the absence of the Senior Sales Executive, the Sales Director or Director of Account Management will oversee the daily duties and responsibilities regarding operation workflow and adherence to the SOPs and cGMPs.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here must be met to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard. Light to moderate lifting may be required. Regular, anticipated attendance is needed, including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the primary duties of the job, the employee is regularly exposed to moderate noise (i.e., general office, industrial complexes, food processing plants, semiconductor labs, clean rooms, etc., some of which can be hazardous). Temperature variances, high noise levels, and dusty environments may be encountered.
